Leadership Team Feature: Meet Jasmine Robinson

We are so pleased to welcome Jasmine to the Tutor Corps and Pacific Preparatory team as our Tutor Services Manager, filling in for Jenny Meadow while she’s out on maternity leave. She brings a calm, positive energy to all of our team meetings and her work with our tutors. Learn about her journey from the classroom to an exciting new role.

Jasmine’s role with Tutor Corps is a crucial one: she recruits, hires, and manages tutors and provides them with ongoing coaching and support. The level of organization and attention to detail while making time for supporting tutors truly requires a special person like Jasmine. It’s no mystery what set her up for success in her new role: before joining Tutor Corps, she was a fifth grade science and social studies teacher at a Title I school, as well as a technology coach and school-based mentor for first-year teachers.

With all that classroom and coaching experience, Jasmine is thrilled to step into the role of Tutor Services Manager. So far, she’s found supporting the tutors to be rewarding, as she feels like she’s truly making a difference in students’ lives, if now from a different vantage point.

In her spare time, Jasmine loves hiking and camping with her family, including her dog Murphy. Curiously, she’s “not a bug person,” but can put that aside to enjoy nature, especially in the beautiful fall season in Atlanta.

Along with her new role, Jasmine is celebrating another big transition…she’s getting married this May! The ceremony will be on a beautiful 44-acre farm in Newnan, GA. “It’s the big, country wedding that I always dreamed of. I am so very excited about it.” We’re so excited FOR you, Jasmine!
