Depending on the type and location of the request, Tutor Corps can offer specialized tutors who have experience with the following learning differences:
- Executive Functioning
- Auditory Processing Disorder
- Language Processing Disorder
- Autism spectrum
Please note that Tutor Corps specializes in helping school districts and parents of children with IEPs (Individual Education Plans) provide in-home academic support when working in a classroom setting is no longer an option.
For Parents and Guardians
The Tutor Corps administrative staff has extensive experience facilitating unique academic situations, and will happily provide complimentary phone consultations to parents in order to help find the right resources (which may or may not include us). Please do not hesitate to reach out to us at 415.990.1322 ext. 102.
Tutor Corps is a proud member of PEN and strongly encourages the use of supportive educational technology specifically for students with learning differences.
For Schools and School Districts
Tutor Corps works closely with schools and school districts to provide either on or off-site, one-on-one instructional services to students who need additional support. Tutor Corps can deliver the school's curriculum to the student or adapt curriculum to better suit the student's needs.
Tutor Corps provides unique professional development opportunities for educators working with students that have learning differences. In addition to our extensive library of online resources, we regularly participate in workshops, conferences, and PEN events and encourage instructors to attend whenever possible.
