Community Service Grant

The Tutor Corps Foundation supports students committed to making a sustainable impact in their communities. We award grants in the amount of $250, $500 and $750 for innovative projects that address community-based issues such as poverty, education, homelessness, health and the environment. Selected students should have original ideas and sponsorship from a teacher or administrator.

Students must live in the Bay Area or Los Angeles, attend school full-time, maintain a 3.0 grade point average and be between grades 6-11, current or rising. From the award date, recipients will have one full year to complete their projects.

Deadlines for applications are every October 1st, December 1st, and April 1st (Grant deadline for December extended to December 8th for 2017).

Please fill out the application below to the best of your ability. Please note, our grants can not be used to raise money for another organization. For example, applying for a $250 grant and then giving that money to UNICEF to support kids is not the goal of our grants (but we applaud your community service efforts!).
