Robbie Engelmann Memorial Scholarship

Tutor Corps Foundation in honor of Susan LindquistDo you know a young woman seeking academic support and mentoring?

In honor of Robbie Engelmann, a beloved mother, gifted therapist, teacher, and advocate of the underserved, the Tutor Corps Foundation awards scholarships to provide a year of complementary tutoring for lower income young women.

Robbie cared deeply about creating opportunities for young women. The Robbie Engelmann Memorial Scholarship funds one-on-one tutoring for five students for the academic year. The scholarship recipients will meet once a week with a tutor to receive consistent academic support along with mentoring to build confidence and self-esteem.

Applicants must be female students, live in the San Francisco Bay Area, currently be in 6th through 12th grade, demonstrate a financial need for tutoring and be recommended by a teacher and parent. We are currently accepting applications for the 2011-2012 academic year, with an application deadline of October 1st, 2011. Applicants will be notified of awards by November 1st, 2011.

To apply, please download the scholarship application form. Applications may be emailed to: scholarships@tutorcorpsfoundation.org or mailed to the address listed below:
