Jesse Rosencranz-Engelmann

Jesse is the Founder and CEO of Tutor Corps and has led the company since its inception in 2002. He is also the Co-Founder of the Tutor Corps Foundation, a San Francisco Bay Area non-profit organization that provides educational services to under-resourced youth. Jesse graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University with Honors in psychology and holds a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. He has published articles in Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes and the Stanford Journal of International Relations. Jesse has 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience and has taught through the Teach for America program in East Palo Alto and at Menlo School's academic summer camp. He served on the Board of Trustees of the Marin Waldorf School in San Rafael for six years and is active in the education community. He provides educational consulting services to schools and families, creates customized programs and curricula, and designs professional development training for tutors. In his free time, Jesse enjoys biking, hiking, reading, cooking, movies, and traveling.
Noel Rosencranz-Engelmann

Noel is an owner and Director on the Tutor Corps Board. Noel led the education company with his brother Jesse from 2004-2011. He is also the Co-Founder of the Tutor Corps Foundation, a San Francisco Bay Area non-profit organization that provides educational services to under-resourced youth. Noel graduated from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Cultural and Social Anthropology where he earned his MA. He attended undergraduate school at Stanford University, graduated with Honors, and received the Gary Sorgan Scholarship Award for college. A Bay Area native, Noel has spent over 10 years teaching, tutoring and working to promote educational opportunities. He designs and instructs educational training seminars, directs leadership enrichment trips, designs standardized test prep programs, and works with school faculties to address a variety of student needs. In his free time, Noel enjoys people, sports, politics, music, acting, screenplay writing, reading and chess, and has traveled to over 30 countries.
