Our team of educational experts partners with parents, teachers and the student to assess strengths, areas for improvement, and learning style. We then create a personal learning plan, combining customized content, organizational study skills development and mentorship to help the student understand not only what to learn, but how to learn.
Tutor Corps and parents: To understand the student’s academic challenges and goals, we have a comprehensive initial conversation. We also check in regularly and provide monthly progress updates. In addition, we are available at any time to answer questions, provide educational expertise, address new concerns or share successes.
Tutor Corps and teachers: Tutor Corps has been tutoring in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2002. We have developed close relationships with many schools and are familiar with their curricula. We routinely partner with a student’s teacher to develop a learning plan that supports the classroom curriculum.
